Full-Time, Center-Based Educational Placement Programs

We Work Towards Your Child's Success

Autism and Applied Behavioral Services offers a year-round educational placement for children. Children are evaluated and placed based on their specific needs for classroom size and intervention. They also have a comprehensive treatment program that is put into place based on evaluations and assessments provided by behavior analysts. Some children are placed in classrooms with 2 children and 1 teacher.

Other children that meet criteria and are ready to focus on group instructions, classroom participation, independent working skills, and social skills are placed in our "Step Up Classroom". This classroom consists of 4 to 6 children focusing on classroom readiness and social skills. As part of this treatment program, children receive special behavioral services as part of their IEP. These services may include:

• Speech Therapy • Occupational Therapy • Behavioral Management

Occupational Therapy & Sensory Integration

The ABA Home-Based Program utilizes the principles and procedures of Applied Behavior Analysis.  A comprehensive assessment, treatment plan, training, and intensive ongoing consultation for your child's program make up our ABA Home-Based Program Plan.

This Treatment Focuses On:

• Cognitive Skills
• Play/Social Skills • Self-Care Skills • School-Readiness Skills

Parent Program
This treatment program is language driven and meant to collaborate with parents using a verbal behavior approach to language. The program is designed as another option to our intensive full-time ABA Enrollment Program. With this program, parents bring their child in for a co-treat with an intervention specialist for 2 hours weekly. The behavior analyst will also follow up monthly to make modifications and updates to your child's language-based program and to help generalize your child's treatment plan goals in the home environment.

The behavior analyst also teaches parents to teach incidentally in the natural environment carrying over the child's treatment plan from their weekly center based co-treats. This program is perfect for those who would like to do an intensive parent based language program.

Social Groups
The ABS social group was designed to focus on breaking down complex social skills in order to teach them to children on the Autism Spectrum. We utilize a variety of methods to accomplish this goal, including small group and 1:2 teaching. Goals range from simple game play to how to appropriately join and maintain conversations and play situations with others.
